Pony Racing Training Day

Do you know someone aged between 9-15 years old who would love to take part in a Pony Racing Training Day? The next training day at the National Horseracing College will take place on Wednesday 18th August 2021. 

This is an additional date due to Thursday 19th August 2021 being fully booked. Book today to avoid disappointment.

Who is eligible to take part?

Each year, the NHC hosts training days during the school holidays, open to those with no previous experience of race-riding, through to seasoned junior jockeys, age 9 to 15 years old.

Ponies of all shapes and sizes are welcome to take part. The overall aim of a training day is to improve the junior jockey’s position, technique, and confidence whilst riding at speed and to develop their understanding of race-riding and the horseracing industry.
