Looking for work experience this Easter? – We have plenty of trainers willing to help.
It’s Easter, your school or college have instructed you to look for work experience. What a daunting task! Fear not, Racing Groom is here to help.
So how should you go about finding work experience?
Firstly return to the Home Page and check out the section on Work Experience (under Become). You will find everything you need to know about Work Experience in a racing yard. We have even provided video’s on ‘What to Wear‘ in our ‘Discover’ page.
Now join the hub (use the log in ‘Looking for Work Experience’) and check out the Work Experience Diary
this is your bible to take with you and fill in.
Who can you work for? Go to our Trainer Locator
and search by type of training license ie. A Flat Trainer or Jumps and by location. Some trainers will offer accommodation. Not all our trainers have indicated that they will offer Work Experience but that should not stop you sending them a letter to inquire. We have told them to expect applications – so don’t be shy.
Now create your CV and edit a covering letter using our handy tool kit which are all located in the Work Experience section of this hub (check your dashboard) Save and download your CV and send off using the email address which you will find using the Trainer Locator.
Good luck, we are sure you will have an incredible time. Please let us know how you got on info@racinggroom.com
