Taster days with the Pony Racing Authority

 In Press Releases

Curious about Pony Racing and how to get involved?

Pony Racing Taster Days are unmounted and usually run between March and October in the morning, with Pony Racing to watch in the afternoon.

The days are for all children aged 7 – 15, including those who ride and those who don’t (yet) ride, those who have never thought about having a go at Pony Racing, and those who have thought about it but aren’t sure how to get involved.

The aim of the day is to show both parents/guardians and children what is needed to take part in a pony race as well as have a great time.

Recent Taster day at Aintree:

Pony Racing Taster Days are free to attend, but you must sign up in advance as places are limited. Parents/guardians are asked to accompany children throughout the day. You don’t need any special equipment to attend, just dress comfortably remembering that the activities will be outside. Please note, the days are not suitable for those pony racing on the day as there is not time to do both.
